EXHIBITION: THE MYTH OF THE BELL
The exhibition The Myth of the Bell celebrates a century of history of Maria Dolens, a symbol of peace and hope that continues to resonate in people’s hearts.
It is not a celebration of the object itself, but rather a reflection on what Maria Dolens has represented — and continues to represent — in the collective imagination: how it has become imprinted in the memory of the community, how deeply it marked its own time, and how it still manages to leave its mark today.
The exhibition is divided into two main sections, retracing these hundred years through two major phases: the birth and consolidation of the myth, followed by the internationalization of the Bell.
